One of my projects while in Berlin will be The Blue Studio Project, documenting my studio as it transforms and develops during my research in Berlin. This is a continuation from my practice in my studio in Dublin, and my interest in the use of blue light in my work. Taking advantage of the strong blast of daylight early in the day and the duller, but yet still bright, afternoon light. At the moment I'll use photographs to document this transient space, but also the work/paintings i produce will equally be part of this documentation- as they are the reasoning for changing around the space....
